Mission Statement We believe the Residents of Chatsford have the right to self determination in their retirement. Some may require additional support to achieve this, be it in their home or at some future date in the Residential Care Centre. Our aim is to offer sufficient complementary care to enable each resident to maintain maximum independence and quality of life. This support will not only address physical care and comfort but will recognise each resident's right to be treated with dignity and respect. Chatsford - A Perfect Location Chatsford is situated on a park-like 10.2 hectare property on the outskirts of Mosgiel on the Taieri plains. Mosgiel boasts significantly more sunshine hours than nearby coastal areas. The Chatsford site was chosen for its flat topography, its rural outlook and its close proximity to recreational and service amenities. Chatsford - an Established Community Chatsford was established in 1991 and has earnt the reputation as one of New Zealand's premier lifestyle communities. Chatsford and Glenbrook are two components of the Chatsford Lifestyle Community. Residents from Glenbrook and Chatsford share equal rights of access and use of this community's amenities and facilities. Chatsford is a major innovator in its development of a lifestyle community that meets the changing needs of its residents. |
