Here are seven reasons why Chatsford should be at the top of your list when you are considering a move to a lifestyle community.

The Chatsford Lifestyle Guarantee is a New Zealand first. The Retirement Villages Act gives you a 15 working days "cooling off" period from the time you sign your Occupation Right Agreement. But in many cases you may not have even moved into the community before the 15 days is up.

If you find that Chatsford is not providing the lifestyle you expected, you can terminate your agreement within the first six months of residency without incurring any of the normal deductions from your Termination Payment. To qualify, Chatsford must be notified in writing within six months of signing your Occupation Right Agreement.

3. Your costs are based on our costs

Chatsford's Community Outgoings Fee is based on what it costs us to run the community. We add no profit margin to any of the expenses that make up the Community Outgoings, and this ensures that Chatsford is able to offer residents comprehensive services at exceptional value. Our Disclosure Statement provides details on the current Community Outgoings Fee.

4. Unlimited access to top quality facilities

As a Chatsford resident, you have access to approximately ten million dollars worth* of top quality facilities and amenities offering a range of lifestyle choices that we believe is unrivalled by any comparable community in New Zealand.

5. Use our facilities now. Pay for them later.

While you are living at Chatsford, you will pay nothing towards the facilities and amenities that are available for you to use. You pay for these when you leave the community in the form of a deduction from the refund you receive for your home.

6. Economies of scale

Chatsford is one of the largest lifestyle communities in New Zealand. Our size gives us considerable purchasing power and allows us to spread many of the costs of running the community over a larger number of residents. This results in better value for you.

7. Building and Grounds maintenance - we've got it covered.

Living the Chatsford lifestyle means you don't have to worry about any external maintenance on your home or section. Whether it's a lawn that needs mowed, your guttering cleaned out, or just a few weeds pulled from your garden - we've got it covered.
